Create your own self care ritual bath by combining 1 cup epsom salts, 4tbs rose petal green tea, 3 drops lavender oil and 1tbs apple cider vinegar into a tup of hot water. Sit, soak and rejuvenate.

Active benefits: 

Green tea is considered one of the world’s healthiest drinks and contains one of the highest amounts of antioxidants of any tea. Natural chemicals called polyphenols in tea are what are thought to provide its anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic effects. Green tea is approximately 20-45 percent polyphenols by weight, of which 60-80 percent are catechins such as EGCG. Catechins are antioxidants that are said to help prevent cell damage. 

Tea also contains the amino acid L-theanine. L-theanine increases the activity of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, which has anti-anxiety effects. It also increases dopamine and the production of alpha waves in the brain. Studies show that caffeine and L-theanine can have synergistic effects. This means that the combination of the two can have particularly powerful effects in improving brain function.

Rose is rich in antioxidants and may relieve stress and anxiety.
